Not only; not just (used before a clause, often paired with 而且/还/也 to mean 'not only ... but also ...')
不仅他去，妈妈也去。
bù jǐn tā qù, māma yě qù.
Not only is he going, but mom is going too.
她不仅会中文，也会日文。
tā bù jǐn huì zhōngwén, yě huì rìwén.
She not only speaks Chinese, but also Japanese.
